Remembering - Danielle Kousoulis
Forever Gone but Forever in Our Hearts
The caring prayers, the shaking shock -This awful news - the world did rock.
Still - no one knows how it happened or why.
The world was so sad – we all did cry.
How unfair to happen September 11 -
Won't someone ever tell me how?
There tears had dried and pain had healed;
And God chose this time for there life to yield.
It's later now, while we've all moved on -
We miss them all just as though they had just gone.
We'll never forget all the good they did,
Even though, to them our farewells we've bid.
We love them ALL still, we miss them yet;
And on this day we'll NEVER forget.
If they are truly in our hearts,
From us they are never truly apart.
Danielle, a 29 year old beautiful woman, who was Vice President at Cantor Fitzgerals, left behind a doting boyfriend, along with her parents and 3 siblings; 2 sisters and a brother. Danielle came to work at the World Trade Center in 1993, after having put herself though school to earn her M.B.A. while also working full time.
Her boyfriend Chris, who also worked in Manhattan, ran franticly out of his office, when he heard the plane hit the Trade Center, he began calling Danielle. They were able to talk cell phone to cell phone – even “getting each other back” after Danielle called a news channel to let them know how she was doing.
The last thing Chris says he remembers telling Danielle was to “Get out, just run.”
Danielle grew up in a small town in New Jersey, the high school where she went – Haddon Twp HS – set up a Memorial Scholarship Fund, what an amazing thing to do for such an amazing person! http://www.kousoulisfund.org/

What a beautiful young lady. I agree with so lost, these tributes ARE getting more difficult to read. I have a steady supply of kleenex though, I'm determined to honour as many of these innocents as I can.

That every name, every face, every soul, every heartbeat should be made one. In the face of the tragedy we all lived through, it is the only prayer I have. Your tribute brings one more name, one more face, one more soul, one more heartbeat into the circle, and we keep living, not inspite of 9/11, but because of those who gave all.
Thank you for your piece of the puzzle.

Cantor Fitzgerald was/is a power house for finding dynamic highly motivated people. CF took a huge hit but the family and friends and the countless people that never even knew these people will never recover from the loss of these folks. To be so young and to be a Vice President- all that potential- all the opportunity to make a difference was stolen from all of us.
Thank you for remembering Danielle Kousoulis.
I remember Marion Britton.
I will NEVER FORGET.
wonderful tribute
